- Zip-Chem® X-500 is added to the flush water at the rate of 1 part cleaner to 4 parts water. The cleaning solution is added to the toilet tank and flushed thoroughly through the system. The tank is then emptied and charged with fresh water, followed by a 1% dilution of AN-300D Toilet Tank Deodorant.
- For heavily scaled systems, add the X-500 concentrate directly to the scaled areas and let it soak before flushing and rinsing.
