Zip-Strip™ 125M
A water rinseable CIC remover for exterior aircraft surfaces

- Removes wet, waxy, and/or dry film CICs (Corrosion Inhibiting Compounds)

- Very effective even after a short dwell time
- Use for the removal of CIC’s.
- Effective against a wide range of aviation soils, such as MoS2 grease, hydraulic fluid, wax, and carbon deposits.
- The Zip-Strip™ 125M aerosol can be used in conjunction with the Formit® extensions to provide targeted spray to areas that may be difficult to reach but need to be cleaned. Please refer to our Formit® technical data sheet for more information.
- Apply Zip-Strip™ 125M by aerosol, airless, air-assist, dipping, or brushing.
- Apply material at a thickness of 2 to 7 mils (51-178 microns), depending on the thickness and age of the material to be removed. The material should also be allowed to dwell for 5-10 minutes (10-20 minutes for heavy duty removal) and then pressure sprayed or rinsed off.
- Do not allow material to dry on the surface. If drying commences, apply a light film of additional Zip-Strip™ 125M and rinse off.
- The components are biodegradable but the contaminants that the cleaner removes may not be. Handle effluent accordingly.
